~ Restoration through Recreation ~
Aleph Baja is all about inviting youth to discover new possibilities for themselves in the outdoors. Whether it’s learning how to swim, stand up on a wave for the first time, or reach the top of a hard climb, the underlying impact is an experience of shared success and empowerment.

Learning
Aleph programs teach trust, self-discipline, perseverance and overcoming fears―experiential lessons which apply to everyday life.
Connection
We practice and model care for the environment and each other. When youth encounter joy and connection in nature, they also open their eyes to the importance of protecting the natural world for everyone.
Support
The core of our work is building relationships. Every young person has a need to feel loved and supported by caring adults in their life. We seek to cultivate a community of love and support in all that we do.

Aleph is a faith-based non-profit organization, rooted in the belief that restoration is a gift from God who loves all people and invites us to find true life in Him. Inspired by Jesus of Nazareth, we welcome, love and serve others regardless of religion, race, orientation or culture.
Aleph (the first letter in the Hebrew alphabet signifying beginning and foundation) started in South Africa in 2007. Head over to the site to learn more about the organization as a whole.
