In 2026 we will be branching out from Aleph Surf International and transitioning to our new non-profit Sal y Roca! With this change of course comes expenses which are important steps to build a solid foundation here in Baja. We also hope to hire on a few of our instructors next year and equip them with trainings and managerial skills! In total we expect the cost to be around $20,000 – on top of our general yearly budget.
Ben Carson Foundation
Though there are many, one of our most recent highlights was attending the Baja Ocean Safety Conference with 2 of our older leaders. We were equipped with 1st Aid, CPR and open water rescue certifications. It was an incredible opportunity empowering our assistants with knowledge and skills that will help make our programs and community safer.
Sal y Roca
Mentioned above, we will be switching over to our new non-profit and name in 2026! We have been working with Hello Light to help capture the heart of our mission and develop a new look for our site that we hope to launch next year! We will keep everyone informed on the timeline.
